My photo I chose that relates to Red Scarf Girl has to do with The Red Guards taking away the fourolds. They are taking down store signs and any names placed up that has nothing to do with Chairman Mao. As in the book many people stand around to watch while one of the red guards stand up on a tall platform with a steardy item taking down the sign to be replaced with a title that has to do with The Cultural Revolution or Chairman Mao's exact words.
The Red Guards want anything and everything to have to do with Chairman Mao's encouraging words and or having to do with The Cultural Revolution. Without any permission they just take down what they want when they want to, not caring how people felt. Just like in The Red Scarf Girl and in the photo people stand around cheering them on.

GPA College Blog 2
When calculating my grade point average for the second semester I was surprised and proud of what I have accomplished. I wasn't pleased with my grade point average the first semester, it was low and I know I could have done better. In order for me to be accepted to UC Davis or Spellman College I must keep my grade point average at a 3.5 or higher. And in order to do that I have to try my hardest to do anything and everything to try to stay focused throughout my years in high school. And study, study, study in order to get A's on my tests and quizzes since those seem to be the two things I struggle in.
Considering that we are only in April and have two months of school left, I am going to try my best to keep my grade point average at a 3.4 or higher if I can. I am going to come into office hours to study for things that will take up a big part in my grade. I want to be successful in life and make my family happy, mostly my mom. I want to be a role model for my younger sister.
