Internship Talks
What struck me when listening to the juniors internships was that the majority of the students didn't enjoy what they did or wouldn't count that as something they look forward to doing in the future and even the ones who did still were unsure or changed their minds. Something Im looking forward to do for my internship is something that might help me get an idea and a head start for what I want to do in the future which is be a veterinarian, so maybe I can work at a humaine society since I care a lot for animals and their health. A internship that painted a key picture to me was the one about the bakery. I understood it and the way the vignette was worded I understood the emotions and things that she loved about the internship. I could really imagine it in my head.

Suheir Hammad & Marjane Satrapi on War
Some quotes that stuck out to me were "I will not side with you or dance to bombs because everyone is dancing, everyone can be wrong, life is a right, not collateral, or casual, I will not forget where I come from, I will craft my own drum". I really like this quote and I think I can connect to it. I like how it's talking about ones self and how they aren't going to be like others and do things that others do but at the same time they know where they come from but will still be them at the end of the day. I also think that in Persepolis Marjane was feeling what Suheir was saying in that part of the poem. Another quote that stuck out to me is "One women believes that love will never find her". I personlly feel that many people believe this quote and would agree, but the word that sticks out is believe. They only believe that for that point in time but things eventually change and they believe otherwise. Marjane was at the edge of giving up all hope for someone she would love for the rest of her life and someone that will love her for her. So she began to believe that since the first guy and secong guy didn't love her that she would never be loved again. And I really loved her whole poem all together. The poetry relates to how Marjane is feeling.
PART II
I think that in the poem the feelings and things said can also be coming from how Marjane felt at the time of the revolution and what she was going through, and the revolution that Suheir was going through when 9-11 occuried. They both define revolution as a complete change and even marked as if their lives are never going to be the same again all because of that one incident. There might be an end and there might not be but how they feel in both situations are as if there might not be an end. People still wont get treated the way the should no matter what may have happened that had nothing to do with them. Both of their families in this situation either were apart of some type of goverment and fought for their rights in war, fighting back in the revolution.

Asia Current Events
My country is Lebanon and I will be taking about the caretaker prime minsiter Saad Hariri who has taken protesters to the streets at efforts by Hezbollah party to form the next goverment. Lebanon is located on the east end of the mediterranean Sea. Isreal is to the south of Lebanon while Syria is to the northeast. And its located in the middle-east of Asia. Lebanon is a small country with a population of approximately four million. Lebanon became an independent country in 1943.
Saad Hariri who controlled the goverment no longer is in charge. Hariri's goverment collapsed after Hezbollah withdrew its support for him this month. Many protesters who accuse the Shia Islamist movement of staging a coup, are blocking roads and burning tyres in several towns and cities. Hezbollah and it's allies earlier won the nominations of their candidate Najib Mikati as the next prime minister to lead the country's goverment. It was all becoming a problem to people because Hariri was not doing things right. Mikati wants to cooperate with all Lebanese parties and extend a hand to all groups to end division. And he highly appreciated everyone who voted for him.
